I’ve had a call about the confusion of our church talking about sex… We don’t do erotic, we deal with peoples’ sexual issues.
Realize that ministry should be done for the whole body mind and spirit. We are sexual beings and any ministry that ignores that fact is ignoring a huge part of life and life’s issues. For many sex is tied to love.
Unfortunately many people have sexual problems with no place to turn… as if the sexual part of our being is not truly part of us…. Our conversations are honest and straight forward because when you accept every aspect of yourself God has given then you can accept yourself as who God wants you to be… Healing happens at all levels.
Should sexually abused woman not express their concerns because the violence against them that had to do with a sexual act? Or the man who feels rejected by his wife because she withholds sex since the baby was born? Why shouldn’t people be able to deal with these sort of issues in their church?
God loves all of you including the things that society hushes up… Don’t continue living a life of secrets… God already knows your pain; it is just society who doesn’t allow it to be expressed.
